Dr. Collin Webster and the PACES program

At the recent Spartanburg Healthy Schools Forum, Dr. Collin Webster, Associate Professor of PE at USC, discussed the Partnerships for Active Children in Elementary Schools (PACES) program. Dr. Webster and his team are working with classroom teachers to prove that incorporating physical activity into class time can improve academic performance and reduce disruptive behaviors while increasing student health and fitness.

Research into the most beneficial use of physical activity in the classroom continues in partnership with school administrators and teachers. Read more about Dr. Webster’s work here and view his forum presentation here.
